ProductioN
The story of Jesus’ birth never gets old, but the story doesn’t stop at the manger. It is our desire to share the hope of Jesus’ birth, death, and resurrection in order to show God’s plan of salvation for His children. During the production there will be some scenes of Jesus’s arrest and crucifixion. Although it is portrayed in an appropriate age manner, one thing you can do is talk to your kids ahead of time to let them know that all the cast are actors, and it is not “real life”.
Please arrive at least 15-20 minutes before the production. This will ensure there is no extra distractions while the production is going.
Bethlehem Booths
When else do you get to travel back in time and experience an Israeli market? Bethlehem booths are a favorite for both the young and old. We’ve added some unique booths this year and expanded some of our most popular ones!
Enjoy some warm handmade pitas, hot cider, fresh squeezed juice while you make your very own musical instrument, wooden toy and other precious keepsakes.
(All booths will be closed during the production.)
Our Volunteers
Night in Bethlehem had its humble beginnings in 2011. What started with a 10 minute skit and several booths has grown into one of our favorite events of the Christmas season. This year, 300 volunteers have come together during the busiest time to make this event happen and serve our community. None of this would be possible without all of the volunteers giving up their time, efforts and finances to see this come to life.
We are always growing and improving. Thank you for being patient with us during our construction season and thank you for coming to enjoy this event with us!
SPREAD THE WORD
Don’t keep the good news all to yourself! The best advertisement is word of mouth. Maybe you’ve been looking for ways to invite a friend or family member to a Christian event. This is a perfect opportunity to step out and do that. We are doing everything that we can to make this event accommodating and fun, but most of all, we are praying for every person to truly experience the power of Jesus when they come to Night in Bethlehem.
