KIDS CAMP 2023

You know what will make your kids summer even more memorable this year? An epic week at Kids Camp!

Our team of creative volunteers are planning the best games, activities, competitions and skits YET — but our favorite part is always chapels, where we dive into the Word, learn about God, and allow Holy Spirit to lead as he wants. We have seen how moments like this can mark a child forever, igniting their hearts to love Jesus and never turn back.

Camp is 6 days, 5 nights full of activities. This year we are heading back to Camp Tadmor which offers swimming in a lake, water blob, water activities, basketball courts, trails, golf course, waterslide and more! We go to great lengths in making camp safe for your child and placing them in a group with a couple volunteers that will be with them through their whole experience. If your child is new to church, this is the best place to solidify new friendships! We love your children and know that this will be the best investment you could ever make.

Ages 7- 12 welcome!

TRANSPORTATION

This year we are encouraging all parents to drop off and pick up their camper(s) directly to the site. We will have limited spots available on the bus leaving from church. If your camper needs a ride to and from camp, please be sure to mark that on your registration soon as possible. If anything changes before camp, please let us know by calling or emailing our office.

 VOLUNTEER

Volunteers are the reason we’re able to offer such meaningful camp experiences. For years, people have stepped forward to help with registration, cook, lead cabins, drive buses, and care for students in a variety of ways. Is this your year?!

Volunteers ages 16+ are welcome to sign up. If you are signing up to volunteer, you are also agreeing to a background check that is required when working with children. Singing up is not a confirmation that you are coming to camp. Please wait to hear back from our team leaders. We will be in touch with everyone by July 10.

SEND A KID TO CAMP

We never want finances to be a reason for our kids to not come to camp! Camp is such an incredible experience for kids. We also know that the cost of camp can be a burden for some families and we don't want your child to miss out due to financial constraints. We have set up a scholarship fund where you can give towards child in need.

(please write in “Kids Camp” in memo)

FAQ’s

Where is kids camp this year?

We’re heading back to Camp Tadmor which offers swimming in a lake, water blob, water activities, basketball courts, trails, golf course, waterslide and more! We go to great lengths in making camp safe for your child and placing them in a  group that is age and gender appropriate with several Church of Truth workers that will be with them through their whole experience.

What about snacks and meals?

Church of Truth kitchen volunteers will be cookin’ up a feast during camp days. You’ll be able to indicate allergies/restrictions in the registration form. We’re confident that even if you have a picky eater, with the wide options and fun meals offered - everyone will enjoy eating at camp.

Can I visit my kids while they are at camp?

Kids camp is a closed campus. We’re committed to make this the most memorable camp for your kids! Although we would love for you to have fun with us, we’ve noticed kids are on their best behavior when parents are out of sight. We have amazing volunteers who will take the best care of your kids at camp.

Cell phones & friends.

Our goal is that your child has the absolute BEST time encountering God and building community with friends. Because of this, we’re asking that your child does not bring his or her cell phone to camp. Our leaders will have their phones and your information on hand - should the need arise.

We will be breaking up teams based on age and genders.

With that being said, although your kids might have a preference of who they want to be with, we cannot guarantee they will be placed in those groups. As parents, please help us encourage your kids that this is a great opportunity to meet new friends.

Attire and what to bring:

A lot of our time will be spent outside. Please pack clothing for water day and mud day. We recommend packing a couple sweatshirts for the chilly campfire nights. Chapels will take place indoors with an AC room so please pack approcprietly. All kids will be gifted a camp t-shirt (which some kids choose to wear everyday of camp :)

Please make sure all your kids items are clearly labeled. At the end of camp, there will be a lost and found station at church that we highly encourage you to visit and retrieve any items missing.
